SAMPLE SCRIPT - The loving kindness of Metta is often likened to a soft rain that penetrates the heart. The color story of this Vihara is blue so it’s the perfect pairing with the metaphor of falling water that describes Metta. A cool background palette is set with the slate grey European-style bricks of the home’s volumes. The interiors play off this color story with aquamarine velvets, teal grasscloth wallpapers, and cast glass accent panels. The landscape uses water in a more focused way than the other Villas. A sunken entry courtyard floats across a koi pond, nestled within planters of Carex and Silver Shadow, accentuated with Purple Iris and Agave Blue Glow. A meandering water feature brings the sound of moving water into play in the back yard.

  • The entry sequence of this villa is quite unique when compared to the other homes. Instead of entering directly on axis into the great room, the procession off the motor court is more meandering.

  • One steps down into a sunken entry court that appears to float over a koi pond leading towards a feature stair that separates the guest wing of the home.

  • The stair redirects the entry back into the great room of the house. Towards one side of the great room is the showcase kitchen and dining room.

  • From this space are two separate guest wings which include three bedroom suites in total, all with ensuite bathrooms and walk-in-closets. The wing of the home past the west side of the great room is devoted entirely to the homeowner’s program.

  • Here we have the primary bedroom suite, an office suite and a massage room. Just outside of the primary suite is a private elevated terrace with firepit lounge.

  • The basement of this house contains the subterranean three-car garage. Glass walls in the garage showcase the feature stair and wine wall which are in the gallery leading into the recreation room.

  • Just off the recreation room is a 10-person theater for the ultimate movie night experience. The basement of this home is outfitted with a multitude of wellness amenities including a gym and spa.

  • Moving to the exterior amenities, the focal point of the Villa is the 60’ diameter pool with integrated spa and 80’ lap pool.

  • The rear terraces are tied together with a meandering water feature that leads through lounge areas with firepits and outdoor dining areas, finally ending at a pond in which floats the meditation pavilion for this home centered around a Big Leaf Maple.
